शोधकर्ताओं की एक टीम ने सूर्य से उत्सर्जित होने वाले अब तक के सर्वाधिक विकिरण (रेडिएशन) को दर्ज किया है। एक अध्ययन के मुताबिक, यह विकिरण 10 ट्रिलियन इलेक्ट्रॉन वोल्ट्स तक पहुंच चुका है। इस शक्तिशाली विकिरण ने गामा किरणों का रूप ले लिया है और इलेक्ट्रोमैग्नेटिक स्पेक्ट्रम पर किसी अन्य तरंग की तुलना में इनमें सर्वाधिक ऊर्जा होती है।
