US Senate confirmed by voice vote that Indian-American Nisha Desai Biswal will serve as Deputy CEO of United States International Development Finance Corporation. Businesswoman Nisha said she was "thrilled" by the news. US President Joe Biden had announced her nomination for the post in March. According to White House, Nisha has over 30 years of experience in US foreign policy.
