This is a very demanding role to
manage hyperlocal deliveries and ensure on-time deliveries & fleet
utilization/efficiency according to aggressive targets. The role reports to the
Dispatch Supervisor.

What You ll Be
Doing
• Key
Responsibility: manage & monitor our last mile dispatch & fleet
operations remotely in order to achieve 100% on time delivery while maximizing
efficiency per driver
• Develop and supervise delivery routes and maintain
contact with vendors throughout the day
• Operate and manage dispatch portal to assign,
re-assign, and report
• Handling Drivers along with their schedules, logins
and utilization
• Managing on-demand last mile orders and order
grouping within trips
• Use Route optimization software to maximize
deliveries
• Ability to remote work and manage drivers remotely
• Respond to issues and follow up by coordinating
with the appropriate departments or field units
• Collaborate with management to modify routes and
zones to achieve target efficiency
• Daily, weekly,
and monthly report reviews of on time deliveries performance overall and by
zone, city, retailer, and driver
• Quick
root cause analysis for delays with optimization suggestions
• 6 days a
week with long hours expected especially initially
What You Should Already Have
• Logistics experience in general and 1 to 2 years of experience in last
mile/on demand is important.
• Knowledge/experience in hyperlocal groceries/food is
a plus
• Must
know Microsoft Office & able to manage a variety of cloud-based applications
• Fluent
in English. Arabic is a plus
• Resilient
to manage difficult situations
• Ambition
for continuous improvement
• Strong
internal and external communication skills: verbal and written
• E-commerce
experience is a plus
