Meta launches AI language model LLaMA for researchers

Meta has announced the launch of LLaMA, a new large language model (LLM), to help researchers in their work in the subfield of artificial intelligence. Meta said LLaMA can outperform GPT-3, a recent predecessor to the model on which ChatGPT is built. This is Meta's third LLM after Galactica and BlenderBot 3 that were shut down following incorrect results. #news101
